Zeus' Last Message

I’d just like to start this writeup by thanking every single member who’s ever participated with us on Olympian RPG. As I sit here thinking and typing up this message, I’m quietly reminiscing in the good times and remembering all of the events that have happened over these three years. There were up and downs, but mainly, I choose to remember the good times - because that’s all that counts.

I’ve been managing Olympian RPG for three years - and lately, I’ve found that the level of interest and member activity has died down drastically from how it used to be. Therefore, I’ve made the decision to permanently shut down the website. The decision was hard to make, considering that I’ve put so much of my heart and soul into building this website. I started from the bottom, and built this site into one of the best Percy Jackson & Heroes of Olympus roleplaying sites around.

When I started this project, I had no idea how large it would get - I envisioned around 5-10 people roleplaying with me. The amount of applications that I used to receive a day was outstanding, and the funny thing is that out of maybe 30 applications, I would find one outstanding gem... which would end up to be you - one of my amazing members.

Even though Olympian RPG may be closing, the memories created here will last forever. I know many of you have made some friends here that you would never have met anywhere else, but here. In an effort to maintain the relationships forged on the site, I’m allowing any of my members to email me (zeus@olympianrpg.tk - don’t forget to include your member name!) with a message about Olympian RPG and any contact handles you may want to extend to the ORPG community (ie. Twitter, AIM). I’ll be collecting these emails and posting what you’d like to say on a wall here on this page with your contact handles posted beside your member name.

Again, I’d just like to extend my many thanks for being apart of this community. I’ve learned a lot from all of you. Although, I don’t think this is the last time we’ll ever talk... I know our paths will intertwine one day - if the fates allow it. But then again, Zeus is seen as the commander of fate.

Until next time,
Zeus
